Client Field Day

On Saturday the 28th of May 2011 we ran our LGB Fitness Member client field day. It was great fun and everyone did really well. On Saturday we all met at Greenhills in cronulla and all headed up to the sand dunes. For some and most members this was the first time they had experience the sandhills and the mighty burn you get from running them. Some were puffing, some were crawling, some were just ready to pack it in. That is exactly the feeling i wanted them to feel and they did a tremendous job.
After the excitement of the sand hills finished we all headed back and made our way up to Rydges where we had a breakfast function for everyone. This was a chance for everyone to fill that appetite they grew from running the dunes.

To all LGB Fitness members and family who attended i want to say a big thank you and congratulations for coming to the event. We put this event for you to show our thanks for your loyalty and support to LGB Fitness. We will look at running another event like this in a couple of months.

Push Ups For Charity MAY 2011

Another Push ups for charity event done and another fantastic effort by Participants who took part. We didn’t raise as much as the first time but the effort and willingness to get in and have a go, raise money and belt out as many push ups in 90 seconds was fantastic. The day was a great success. We were lucky enough to have Petra to come and talk about her story and how she received a wish from Make a Wish Foundation, very touching and it’s great to see the money raised goes to people in need. The Make a Wish Volunteers were fantastic again, thank you to John and Antoinette.

Congratulations to Wendy and Andrea for smashing 79 push ups each in 90 seconds, Well done.

We had a some winners taking prizes from our raffle and we put on a BBQ for everyone afterwards. Fun games were played to raise more money.

All in all it was a fantastic day and very well supported, so if you took part or came to support thank you very much from everyone at LGB Fitness.

PUC Money Counted

MONEY HAS BEEN COUNTED

We have collected all money form participants and donors and the total raised is $7000. A fantastic effort, which exceeded my goal of $5000.
This money will go towards giving children the opportunity for their dream to come true. Having hearing some stories by the make a wish volunteers about children and the wishes they have had its make the whole event such a worthy cause.
Thank you to Deb for sharing her story. Congratulations to Liz for most push ups by a female and to Phil for most push ups for a male. These 2 received a supplement pack.A big mention to Wendy who as a participant went a collected $3500 on sponsorship donations, a terrific effort Wendy. Wendy will receive a Fitness and health pack to the value of $200

Push Ups For Charity

Push Ups For Charity Engadine. The inaugural Charity event by LGB Fitness. A fantastic Turnout, fantastic effort from all participants. All participants equalled or bettered their initial goal.
Thankyou to all Make a wish Volunteers for coming out and supporting this great cause. I have worked with young children for a long time now. extending back to summer camps in the states to kids holiday camps. It was great to see the amount of support for children in need.
Can’t wait to find out how much we raised.
